We were fortunate enough to be able to try 10Monkeys Math World at no cost, in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. When I was approached by 10Monkeys Math World I knew immediately that it would be perfect for my 3 year old, Michael. We had just begun the basics of number counting last week, and after looking at the overview of the program it looked promising.

Michael went to work almost immediately, he became excited seeing all the monkeys scattered about the screen. With a bit of supervision, it became clear that he understood the tasks quickly. The program charts progress and skills with a easy to read visual. The above photo shows Michael’s results after his first 2 tasks within the program. I believe that even at the age of 3 he is old enough to grasp a lot of the basics 10MonkeyMath has to offer. I was able to do a small video to share with you of Michael and his older sister, Sara, working together. She is not giving the answers to him, as we would like accurate results as he completes the program. Instead, she is helping keep him focused-he has a tendency to become excited and count too quickly for his finger pointing.
10Monkeys Math World has been a positive experience in helping Michael learn, recite, and recall basic math skills that he will need to learn later as he ages. I am thrilled with the results so far and am encouraged that the next update will be just as successful.
