During the Thanksgiving holiday it is always nice to find a simple treat to serve. These Pilgrim Hats take very little time to prepare and would look adorable on any table. This Thanksgiving why not get the kids together and let them create thier own yummy memories.
Ingredients:
Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups (Small Size)
Reese’s Pieces
Keebler Fudge Stripe Cookies
Frosting
Food Coloring
Piping Bag
How to Make:
You will want to mix your frosting with food coloring.Put a small frosting in a bowl, add a few drops of food coloring to it. Begin mixing, you can continue to add food coloring until you get your desired color. I suggest that you only add a drop or two at a time.
Yellow and a light orange were used for this recipe. Put your frosting in a piping bag or simply put the colored frosting into a sandwich bag, snip the corner, and begin piping when ready.
Lay your cookies face down on some wax paper. Pipe out a circle around the center hole of the cookie.
Place the peanut butter cup on top of where you put the frosting. Pipe around the peanut butter cup to make sure the top is “glued” to the brim of the hat.
Grab one Reese’s Pieces, place some frosting on one side and stick it to the peanut butter cup.
