About The Author: 
Anca-Melinda Coliolu, writing as Melinda De Ross, lives in her native Romania with her husband and a pair of rude parrots. She attended Law School and got her degree but worked as a journalist for several newspapers, polishing her writing skills. It never occurred to her that she wanted a career as an author until she began writing, as therapy to get perspective on a crucial part of her life.
Melinda was a professional target shooter for a decade, winning multiple National Championships. She was breaking records in her teens until health issues forced her to give up the sport.
Out of that heartbreak, Rendezvous with Hymera started taking shape and so began her career as a Romantic Suspense author. Melinda has always been a fan of writers like Diana Gabaldon, Nora Roberts and Sandra Brown. Currently she weaves romance into tales laced with the paranormal and occult. Her interests in yoga, philosophy and a large range of other disciplines give her work depth and color.
She is also the author of the series Coriola – Mirage Beyond Flames and Dante’s Amulet, and A Touch Of Poetry – a short poems collection.

What motivated you to write your new release?
The simple joy of writing, creating stories and characters. Most of all, the love I have for creating romance, laced with suspense and paranormal and the urge to reveal a bit of Romania’s history and mystery.
What attracts your hero to your heroine and vice versa?
Gerard is first attracted by Linda’s beauty and sensitivity. Linda is first attracted by Gerard’s stunning good looks and sex-appeal, then by the dedication and passion he has for his work.
Describe your Hero to us in one sentence.
An extremely attractive man with a brilliant mind and impressive character.
Describe your Heroine to us in one sentence.
A beautiful introverted woman, but much stronger than she thought she was before finding her self-confidence.
How did you choose your characters names for your new release?
Someone once told me that Linda – part of my name, Melinda – means “beautiful” in Spanish. It does, too. I like the sound of the name Gerard and it’s the name of the actor I want to see playing my character: Gerard Butler.
Is this going to be a series?
Yes, two books under the name “Coriola”. The second one, “Dante’s Amulet”, is Giovanni Coriola’s story – Linda’s brother.
Where do you see the couple in your new release ten years from now? (Will they have children, new jobs, or will they still be the same?)
They will probably have at least two children. Linda will be still sculpting and be a wonderful mother and wife. Gerard will be a worldwide known doctor and his discovery – two innovative treatments for cancer – will make the entire world a better place, curing thousands of people.
Are you a plotter or a pantser?
A little bit of both. I start with the basic outline and go with it, weaving the story as it writes itself into my head.
Does your Heroine have any traits that remind you of yourself?
She loves cats and doesn’t like to cook, though she is a great cook.
Describe your new release to us in one sentence.
A multi-layered story that has something special for absolutely any type of reader, no matter the sex, age, preferences or social status.
