Slope Of Love by Melissa Foster Book Tour, Review & Giveaway
NEWLY RELEASED…
Book #4 The Remingtons, Love in Bloom Series #13
Olympic gold medalist skiers Jayla Stone and Rush Remington have been best friends for years.
They’ve seen each other at their best and worst and have kept each other’s secrets without fail.
Only there’s one secret Rush has kept close to his chest. After months of introspection, Rush realizes he’s been filling his bed but not tending to his heart. He’s changed his womanizing ways, and the only woman who can fill his heart has been right by his side all this time.
Years of intimate conversations and the sharing of hopes and dreams collide when Rush reveals his secret, and one toe-curling kiss changes everything between Rush and Jayla.
They’re no match for the passion that kiss ignites, or the pull of true love. But being Rush’s best friend means knowing all about his revolving bedroom door—and Jayla has a secret of her own that could jeopardize her career and her relationship with Rush. Even their love may not be enough to overcome Rush’s past or secure Jayla’s future.
THE REMINGTONS are the newest addition to the LOVE IN BLOOM series

My View/Thoughts:
The more novels that I read from Melissa Foster’s Love In Bloom Series, the more I realize how addicted I am. She surely has earned her title of “New York Times & USA Today bestselling & award-winning author” in my opinion. Slope Of Love continued my fascination with the Remington clan and their journey through love, loss, and fierce passion.
Slope Of Love can be read on its own without starting from the beginning of the series, which is one of the reasons I have fallen in love with Melissa’s books. The fact that you can grab any novel and enjoy the story and not feel like you are missing any history. I do, however, suggest reading all of them-it has been one experience that I have enjoyed immensely at night during my few moments of quiet time.
Watching Rush work through his life, leaving behind his old ways of revolving women and choosing to go with his heart is a emotional journey for the reader as well as him. Melissa is able to capture the essence of what true love is, and seems to effortlessly build all her characters into the definition. You find yourself wanting to slip away into the lives of Rush and Jayla, you want to feel the strong emotions tied to them both.
As this series progresses, I cannot give it enough praise. I have noted that I have never been partial to ooey-gooey romances novels, but this series has changed that. I have found a deep appreciation for novels written in a way that makes the reader jealous of the characters within the pages of the book. This time around it is Jayla that has my jealousy in hyper-gear, she has a very hunky man that adores her to her soul. How many people can actually say that? I mean it is a passion that is so-strong, so-overwrought with fierce emotion that one would think that a person would be squashed by its power. The characters in all the books will leave an ever-lasting memory with you, you find yourself comparing your own relationship, you view other peoples relationship, and always compare to the Remington series. Or at least I found myself doing that.
Read Write Love is the next book in the series and I bet you all can guess which book is next on my reading list. I am excited to continue the Remington series, but I also mourn each book after its completion. I suppose mourning is a good thing, as I will be re-reading the series over and over again to get my “hunky-passion fix” that I now crave.
I would also like to make note of a fact that I seem to have over looked in earlier reviews. Melissa’s covers of her books! I am impressed that each cover is tastefully done, but when you look at it – you can begin getting glimpse’s into the true passion that are within the pages of the book. The covers artfully represent the total feel of each story.
